Scam Description
Contacting myself and many other people I know saying legal actions pending for a dept from 2013, using old invalid addresses and my maiden name from prior to the year 2000. They have my SS# and DOB and gave me an account number and told me to contact a creditor to confirm if i wanted. Stated if did not settle today will be served and dept will be 4000+ at that point and that they would attempt to serve at my employer as well. Seemed valid, but i cant find the dept and have settled other old accounts and purchased a home with no sign of this on my credit report. Im not sure what to do
