Scam Description
I got a call on my personal cell phone telling me that I owed money to capio partners from a medical bill that was paid off and was from over two years ago. The woman on the phone was rude and pushy, asking for my credit card information immediately after telling me she was from a debt collector and that I owed money. She was aggressive and getting aggrivated, telling me repeatedly that I owed them money. She told me that calling the hospital to verify the debt was paid off would not work. I called the hospital directly after and they WERE able to verify I had no debt. They also were able to send proof to me.
