Scam Description
I received a call from 909-529-8629, regarding a pending case to put a lien on my home. They provided me with a case number. So I call the 888-312-9513 number. The phone rang for the longest time, then the person who answered only gave the firm/business name of keelson and associates. He would not provide any information like his name or company address, would not let me speak to a manager or anything. He asked do you know about the case, I replied the only information I was given was about a debt in the year 2000, that was 20 years ago and all my past debts have been paid in full. He said just go to court and hung up. I tried calling back several times and got the same person every time, like he was the only one there. Stated he was a paralegal and they don’t have to give any information. He then started saying don’t call back every time I called back. A little while later they left a message on my brother’s cell about the case, still no information but to call 888-312-9513. I tried searching the company by name and phone number but could not find anything.
