Scam Description

I was sent an email that had a subject of “WUELLO™ Bank: The Best Bank.” I clicked on it, and then in the email, it said, “WUELLO™ has great service and is rated by the Better Business Bureau as an A+. We are trustworthy, and we have no hidden fees.. Use WUELLO™ Credit™ today.” It then offered me a button (which I clicked, due to the email looking professional and trustworthy). Once I was on their site (wuellobank.com), an online chat window popped up. The message was from “WuelloBot.” The bot said “Hey! What are you looking for? ??” I clicked on the option that said “I want to know your credit card options ??” and the bot responded with an “Okay, what’s your name?” I told them my name. They also asked for my email, which I gave them as well. I was then transferred to a person named “John.” John told me all about their credit card options. I selected one, and they said that they would need my debit card for verification. I gave them that number. Once the process was done, they asked for an address where they could mail my card. A few days later, I found out that they had taken away $1000.00 and never given it back. I also never recieved a credit card in the mail.
