Scam Description
On 7/12/24 a person by the name of Jerome Perkins took $784.62 from my chime account. Mr. Perkins was impersonating a bank teller from Chime Bank stating that someone was trying to make a transaction on my account at Walmart. Mr. Perkins stated he would closed that account and give me a new account number and send a new debit card. He had all my information including my account number and routing number. He stated he was transferring my money to the new account and placed me on a hold and he never came back to the phone. I called Chime back multiple times put in claims that were denied. I never received any updates or emails stating that these claims were denied. I had to keep calling them to find out anything on them. Everytime I called my claims were denied.
