Scam Description

Sarah Reed from Document Courier Services called my sister and me from 213-315-2349 threatening if I did not respond they would
go to her work, her home address to process service. The call was identical to me. It had a callback number in the voicemail for 949
334-9206 and a case number 370562. I called the number and the woman told me it was a case due to JP Morgan Chase Bank
suing me for $6000 for a defaulted credit card. I immediately became suspicious and asked for the information on the credit card.
She had no details beyond an account ending in 2354 from 2019. She could provide no other information and attempted to verify
information. The call ended. I have banked with Chase for over 10 years and I have only one card with them and it is not the number
given. I called Chase Fraud department and they searched through past and present accounts associated with my social security
number and could find no such card issued ending in 2354. They have no pending cases against me and only have my current card
and bank account information. They recommended I report this to the local authorities and the Missoula, MT police referred me to
your site. I have blocked their numbers as recommended and have advised my sister to do so as well. I am not sure what their end
game was or what information they were phishing for.
