Scam Description

Company claiming to be a law firm working on behalf of banks. They are very aggressive and try to get you to pay half of a balance owed by someone you are related to. They will leave a voicemail weeks apart saying you have 72 hours to respond. They will hang up on you if you ask questions about why they are calling or if you don’t let them interrupt you and yell at you. It’s all an intimidation tactic to get money from you. First they claimed it was a credit card opened by my mother (does not show on my credit report) and then when I said that I don’t see it on my report they say it is an overdrawn bank account.
