Scam Description
On 9/12/22, I ordered a pair of earrings from a website called “She Said Yes” which was an advertisement on Facebook. They had the BBB logo at the bottom with several others claiming legitimacy, The earrings cost $405, and were”black moissanite”? When I received them they looked like dull stones. I asked to return them for a refund. I was first offered $40 and to keep the earrings. I said no I want the refund. They said there were several fees totaling $156.50 and I would only get $248.50 back in cash. Once they received the returned product they offered me $280 in store credit or $248.50 cash. I don’t believe “black moissanite” exists but the package arrived with a “certification of the collection.” And they listed so many fees I cannot understand taking more than 35% of the price I paid. The box arrived from DHL from I believe a country in Asia (couldn’t read the address) but I was to return the item to La Puente, CA. Everything seems fishy
