Scam Description
I was attempting to make a payment over the phone to Care Credit / Synchrony Bank. I dialed the incorrect number accidentally. The person that answered sounded legit. I told them that I needed to make a payment and was asked to confirm my name, address, email, card number, expiration date and cvv number. I started to get suspicious and did hang up when they asked what type of card it was and if it was a debit or credit card. I immediately verified that I had dialed the wrong number and called the correct number. The representative assisted in canceling my card.
