Scam Description
On 09/14/22, a certain Danny J. Terry posted on marketplace on Facebook that his uncle passed away and giving away his Petrof baby grand piano. I offered to get it and he agreed. He said that he will go on vacation the next day 09/15 and that I should contact his mover, M. Dante Trucking services (707) 706 0138. We did and agreed to pay $300 to deliver the piano and he required payment via Zelle or CashApp. He used the email Casekos57@gmail.com for Zelle payment and we paid $150, the other half will be paid upon delivery. He did not show up nor contact us back. I used another phone and contacted him again posting as another buyer, he provided the business address of 20675 Nordhoff St., Chatsworth St,, CA 91311, I went there and it was just a warehouse, I asked around and nobody knew the company on that address. He then asked again to pay him $300 now using Zelle email add buianh05857@gmail.com email to pay him. I offered him to pay more if I could pay in cash upon delivery and if he will show the piano. He did not. The poster Danny J. Terry conveniently deactivated his account and could no longer be found on Facebook. I believe they are the same person just trying to scam people.
