Scam Description
Good morning!
I received an email yesterday stating it was from Amazon and there was “unusual activity on my account”. It looked like a usually email from Amazon, so I clicked on the “Sign-in to Amazon” link in the email. I have several firewalls and the page loaded no problem, no warnings at all! It looked almost perfect, except I noticed it wasn’t the usual web address. It also had “DuckDNS” and I knew that wasn’t right in my normal Chrome app.
Unfortunately, I didn’t listen to my instincts and I did enter my username and password. But, the next page was immediately suspicious!! It asked for my entire life’s information, including phone number, address, social security number, mother’s maiden name, childhood streets I grew up on, and much more! And not as security questions, just all out on a form! I knew then it didn’t look right, so I copied the web address and googled it. It’s new and not reported yet, but it said the “Duckdns” thing is an instant sign of a phishing scam! So, I’m reporting everything I’ve got to Amazon and you! I work with elderly/disabled persons who definitely wouldn’t know any better, and fall for it. Please help. I wrote you first, now I’m going to change my password on Amazon.

I have screenshots of mostly everything except a shot of all the information they wanted after signing in. I didn’t want to completely sign back in again, plus if you take too long, it redirects you to another unrelated website, and you can’t reload that page! Also, when on the username sign-in page and the same on password sign-in page, you can’t click any other link! Normally you can go back to Amazon or select the “forgot Password” option, but nothing but “sign-in” would work.
