Scam Description

This company claims to be out of Berlin, Germany. They contacted me via text(+12138276096) message after applying for multiple jobs @ once via a job seekers platform(can’t remember which one.) I was instructed to download Microsoft teams for communicating. So when they called the only thing displayed was their supposed name, no number & no way of retrieving an actual number. They claimed they’d supply all my home office equipment but first they need $200 for my employee portal activation to proceed. The whole ordeal was quick & if I wasn’t hip to a few flags I would have fell victim. I did divulge personal info. Such as my legal name, who I bank thru & dob. I can’t remember if I listed my ssn or not. They erased half our convo once I busted them out on the scam. They worked on me for days for that money. Even offered I just pay for $100 of the $200 for now. I did my research & when I decided they were a scam, I then told them that they were. I accidentally contacted them today trying to retrieve the phone number used. Tobias Rast is still on Microsoft teams posing to be an affiliate of the phoney business.
