Scam Description
I reached out to FixOlive for support with my HP printer. The agent stated that my IP address was exposed and asked if I utilized Zelle and Amazon, verifying my address and phone number. Later, I got a text containing a code from BOA, which I did not share with the representative. Upon contacting Spectrum, my internet service provider, they assured me that my BOA account is unnecessary for printer support. They assisted in uninstalling a chat application that the agent had installed. This incident suggests that the company may be engaging in fraudulent activities.
