Scam Description
10-2-24 I received a letter from “Ken” with Tax Care Dallas telling me that I was behind on state property taxes and offered to help pay for delinquent taxes if I qualified for their assistance. I called Dallas County Tax office and was told they have a record of all my payments for 2023 and no money is owed. I then also checked with Garland Independent School District Tax Office and was told I did not owe anything. I called “Ken” and he acknowledged his letter and hung up on me when I told him I did NOT owe any money and was going to report him. He is a scammer – please do something because some people may not have the understanding what to do or how to check as I did. Thank you.
