Scam Description
I was contacted by the company. They needed me right away. So i onboarded. Met with a family outside of town on contry road. There were alot of people’s living in the home alongside 2 of the persons who needed caregivers. I was ask to start work that weekend. They onboarded me i sent all my information they had me download my ss driver license. Address. How i wanted to be paid. I chose the pay card. That never came. I showed up to work. Signed in on the schedule app. I had downloaded. Called therapi. The families information was there. The gate was padlocked and no trespassing signs all over the place. I sat there for about a half hour to see if they would come out to open the gate. I was signed in 15 minutes before the 830 am time i waited and then left. Tried texting the place and never got a response. My bank notified me that my ss and other information had been found on thedark web. I call and some guy answers. I told him i didn’t believe this was a real company and why didn’t my pay card come? Was i employed? He didnt answer about pay card as i was to be paid for meeting the family. He says well you met the family i have caregivers there. He says we dont have other families right now. I dont know why you didnt want to work there. I told him because the compound was locked up tightly and I couldn’t get in. Anyway it seems very strange that my information was compromised.the day i onboarded with this company.beware.
