Scam Description
I called Avis car renal to rent a car. I paid for the vehicle over the phone because they said it would be a discount. The card I use was a brand new credit card with no transactions on it. This would’ve been the first transaction on the credit card. I did not end up purchasing the rental and four hours later, I started receiving notifications that my card information was being used, I had my physical card with me so that means that Avis stole my card information and used it. The gentleman who made the reservations stole all the information on my card and my personal information and you started using it. Please be aware of this rental company they will steal your information and use it .
