Scam Description
On June 6th, scammer appeared to be a friend of mine on Facebook, who was into Crypto currency. Me, not realizing this was not actually my friend, I reached out to find out more information about the program. I was told that I could invest $1k and get a return. Once the deposit was made, scammer came back a week or so later and asked me for $5k. I then got suspicious. I went out on Facebook to find that my friend had made a post that his account had been hacked. When I told scammer that I had discovered he had lied and misrepresented himself and that I wanted my money back, they refused. To date, they still have not refunded my money. The name of the platform/company is PROFXALT.COM. I have found that the AZ phone number on the website is not in service. The London address that is used is a brick and mortar and virtual office space. The support tickets that I had submitted on their website have never been addressed or even opened. It is a full on scam! I just want people to be aware of this!
