Scam Description
7/23/2020, I purchased security service charged my credit card a one time fee of 199.99(I have that email) and the credit card payment authorization form I signed. They have never contacted me or charged my card annually. I’ve been receiving potential spam numbers, I don’t answer, but now leaving message that the security service is not canceled so it will get automatically renewed for 5 years and the amount of $6800 will be automatically debited from checking. I did call the number they are requesting personal info and said once the cancellation fee of 6800 is debited they would put it back on the accct. I did not provide my bank account. I feel I am being scammed as I have never received an email or annual charge since accept back on 7/23/2020, one time 199.99. I do not know what to do or how to verify. The toll free number on the email from 7/23/2020 is 1-844-776-8473, I called this number the other night and it’s a totally different co.
I keep checking all my credit cards and bank acct to be sure 6800 has not been taken.
I think I was scammed back on 7:23/2020 and didn’t realize it.
