Scam Description
On the 05/12/2024,I met a security guard who told me she wanted to “Help” me with a job in the company she worked for.She relayed this information to her college at the end of her shift and her college went ahead to introduce me to an individual who he said was the “Pastor” of a church.This individual named Pastor Ekene after church decided with his wife Sabbath Ekene that the wanted to. “help” me with accomodations close to the place of work in order to make it easier.I was given a form to fill and later told by the pastor’s wife that there was another form to fill which she wanted to assist me with( I read and speak fluent English) and never asked for her help.In the form,I was told to answer the question that I am “Homeless”,in order for them to help me and put a date.I was deceived to believe that they had be “praying for who they can help and that this was something special being done for me”.I was taken to a location and put in a hotel.After this I was constantly being harrassed by the so called pastor’s wife and almost threatened.I had to change my number to get rid of them and have done everything to leave the hotel to no avail.I was never given the job and the person who said therr was a job offer,when I contacted them said they couldnt make it and I never heard from her again.PLEASE AVOID THIS CHURCH BY ALL MEANS,SO YOU DONT FALL INTO A TRAP.
