Scam Description
I received a call from 901-719-0299 on my business line. The woman said she was Tammy with Document Processors and that I had a civil suit that I needed to respond to. I was to call Abbot Brown & Associates at 1-888-309-3161 and provide reference number 1390810 to find out about the amount owed. She refused to answer any of my questions and made it all sound so urgent. I know that any actual suits will be served and would not have answered if not on my business line. I have not called the toll free number but saw online that others have received this call scam and felt it should be reported.
