Scam Description
I noticed the account posting videos of monkeys on the account @generalmonkly54 taken from other accounts, using the same description of every post to describe a monkey they were selling for $450 with the same name on every caption. They recently updated these to say that the monkey was free but that shipping payment was required, likely because they were receiving comments about how the sale of monkeys was illegal. When I reached out to them to see if they had any verifiable business information they sent this message.
“I want to inform you that before you coming to pick up the baby you have to put a down payment fee which is to process all adoptions documents to your names and also transfer of ownership papers to your names and this is done for serious inquiries .The deposit amount is $400 and once the adoption papers had been processes to your names we then get back to you with 4original copies with your names on them and which legally shows you are the rightful and legal owner of the baby, You will make a deposit for me to get the paperwork arranged while waiting on you, so that once you come we can give you the baby without waiting time thanks and waiting for your reply soon?”
Their later replies showed a paper transaction of a previous customer but they refused to provide any licensure or customer reviews. Their replies also used very broken english, claiming that they are “1000 legitimate”, “I got a companies” and “I don’t false any clients”.
