Subject: Report of Scam: Metroleads Logistics and Freight
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally report an incident involving fraudulent activity perpetrated by the company Metroleads Logistics and Freight. The sequence of events unfolded as follows:
Initially, representatives of Metroleads Logistics and Freight reached out to the Film and TV department of Loyola Marymount University with an offer to donate a piano. Tiffany Gurney, the person who offered up the piano, kept in touch with the department and then had her information forwarded to the students. Subsequently, my girlfriend shared the information with me, and I commenced communication with the company via email.
Over a period of approximately three weeks, extensive correspondence took place between myself and the aforementioned company. After negotiations, a transaction was agreed upon, involving a payment of $1280. However, subsequent to remitting the funds, communication from Metroleads Logistics and Freight has ceased entirely.
This situation raises significant concerns regarding the legitimacy of the company’s operations and the potential exploitation of individuals, including educational institutions. It is imperative that appropriate action be taken to investigate this matter and prevent further harm to others.
I am willing to provide any necessary documentation or information to support an investigation into this fraudulent activity. Furthermore, I urge the Better Business Bureau to take prompt and decisive action to address this issue and protect consumers from similar scams in the future.
