Scam Description
I received a an official bill from the HANOVER Insurance company Group saying I owed for my personal automobile policy and homeowners policy. There is no e-mail given on the letter. It shows a payment due and policy number etc,. I have insurance with MAPHRE which is paid. I do not have insurance with the Hanover group which I see is a real group but I believe this is a scam. I have checked with my insurance company to be sure they had not merged with Hanover and I had missed it. No! The policy numbers are bogus and they almost got me as I started to question. This is very upsetting and so reporting this and warning others. How they have my information is also scary. I hope you can warn people on this.
