Scam Description
The caller claimed to be calling from my PCP’s office. They have called before, saying that my PCP said i needed knee braces for my arthritis and these would be provided at no cost to me; Medicare would pay for them. The first time this happened, i said i do not need braces and my PCP had not mentioned ordering them for me. The caller was very insistent, but i refused them. i have not received nor has Medicare been billed for any braces, but they keep trying.
