Scam Description
An American artist selling ceramic “bee cups” on Instagram appeared in my feed. I checked the internet to make sure it was legitimate. It appeared it was, and I made the purchase. Several days later, this artist was on my Instagram feed indicating their social media store had been stolen by a foreign company. I went to my PayPal account to see the origin of the shipment, sure enough, it was coming from China. Eventually, the tracking information indicated it was delivered. It never was. I’ve attempted through the company and PayPal to get my money back, but was not successful.
