Scam Description
I called Swiss AIr and wasn’t able to hear the guy so he said he would call me back. Call back came from 832-844-2707 and caller I D said RS IT Services. Booked United flight operate by Swiss Air so I called Swiss Air for seat assignments. Said tickets were low tickets, no baggage and no seats but I could get the bundle for $260 a person. I asked just for seats and then Guy asked for confirmation # so I gave him Swiss # then he said he needed the United Confirmation #. Said 3 seats were on stand by and 2 were booked but whole reservation was canceled. But he said he could rebook it same price. Then I looked on United website and reservation was canceled. He said he would rebook it for less with Visa or Mastercard then I said use the same card as original reservation. Went back and forth for seats until I decided to google the phone #. Put him on hold and canceled both cards for fraud then he came back on phone and said he was switching me to Swiss Air for seat assignments although he was doing that already for 20 min. I hung up and blocked his #. He attempted $7300 on the original Amex card but Amex uses a site key to verify charges and it was declined
