Scam Description
Company claimed they found me on a job search site. Had me download Micro soft teams.Gave outline of remote job all professional like. Told me to work from home I needed said info and that they were gonna email or send me money to get said equipment. Laptop, Printer and headset. Never done remote work before, Spoke to a Jennifer Rodriguez that instructed me thru info. Printed on my printer a false check, screen shot it into my bank account. Next day Rodriguez told me to take contents and send to some gentleman named Timothy Paz. I could only get 250.00 rest was frozen till bank released funds. Something seemed suspicious so I went to my bank. The check was fraudulent and I don.t want anyone scammed like I was.
