Scam Description
My sister who lives in another state received a call from a Mr. West stating he was looking for me and that he had important documents to serve me. he knew her name and address.. I called the number he left 833-883-2060 and a Jacob answered the phone and told me he was from Monahan & Grayson litigation group and that they were representing EZ loan services. he said I took out a loan in December 2012 and that $600 was deposited in my 1st National Bank. I told him I never was a customer of that bank. he put me on hold and stated that I was going to be served that day with papers stating I was being sued by EZ loan services. he had my address. he wanted me to set up payments through my bank account to get it paid off. I told him no. I was not going to do that . I did not take out a loan. he was he would send it to his fraud department but I was still going to get served. Later that day, they called my husband and left the exact same message that they had left for my sister. even later that day, they contacted my daughter in law. they knew her name, I had phone number and address. I had done some research online and saw similar cases to mine. they never did serve me with papers.
