Scam Description
A Sally Brown contacted me regarding a civil matter for a credit card debt from 2006. She told me a letter of intent was mailed to be at an address I have not lived at for 8 years. She would not resend any documentation about this matter and told me she needed my physical address to be served next week to appear in court in front of a judge. She had the last 4 digits of my social and was using a previous married name from 14 years ago. Sally Brown did not provide the debt disclosure statement and told me there is no statute of limitations per the credit card contract I signed. I told her to put refusal on my “file” and feel free to proceed with taking this matter to court which will never happen. Scam
