Scam Description
I received text messages from someone named Peter Kaplan, a Public Affairs Specialist with the Federal Trade Commission. He claimed to be investigating an Unclaimed/Undelivered Cash Payout of $862,000 issued to me from the “American Gaming Association” Promo Raffle held September 3, 2023. He also claimed to have sent me several certified letters in that regard (which I did not receive). I have no knowledge or connection whatsoever with any of the preceding assertions. I did not respond to any of the preceding text messages.
