Scam Description

This app makes canceling your subscription very tricky on purpose. I canceled my subscription and deleted the app. Then I started getting suspicious charges that my credit card company flagged (which means that this company already is flagged by my credit card company). I denied the charge four separate times and then the fifth time they got the transaction approved somehow. When I logged in to the website (I deleted the app after I canceled the service, but a mistake that I’ll never make again was not screenshotting that confirmation of cancelation) I was greeted with a questionaire about why I was canceling my subscription right when I logged in. After I answered the questions I was THEN successfully done with canceling my subscription. When I wrote to their customer service I was basically told that they wont refund my charge, but that I wont be billed again. To be clear- I never even used their services. I was totally fine paying for the intial subscription fee/time that I signed up for, because that was on me for not using it, but to then be charged an extra $52 for something I never even used? I was just asking to be refunded for that extra charge, but then being told that basically they are going to keep my money is not only predatory, but it’s just morally corrupt and definitely gives off a vibe of scamming people out of extra money.
