Scam Description
TheHypeSection is a website that used google ads to sell a lot of fake merchandise. I thought they had real sports jerseys, and was confused because there is a real sports site called hypesection.com. They then have a website created with residential / mail forwarding addresses and an incomplete section on returns. I realized it after and tried to cancel the order, but they created a fake shipping confirmation saying it was too late to cancel. I tried to cancel the 3 items that didnt ship, but they wouldnt do it. The one that “shipped” was using a company called Fast Track Express, and didn’t really ship on time and is taking a while. Based on their pictures and descriptions, I expect the item to be counterfeit. They know my name and address, but no SSN or account numbers (outside of Amex info). I reported them to Amex.
