Scam Description
A person named Tamara called stating that I should have received a notice in the mail. (I did not receive anything in the mail). She said I had a pending complaint. I asked her what the complaint was about, she would not share anything with me and said I should have received something in the mail. I again stated I did not receive anything in the mail. She said I needed to call a 888-474-8452 number and provide file number for more info. I hung up. She called me back and left the following voicemail: “Hello this information is intended to reach (my name). My name is Tamara with dispatch services to remind you of a pending complaint that has been reported due to your failure to respond to a 30 day notice issued to your home address. Preventing the filing process for moving forward without your acknowledgement. Please contact 888-474-8452 where you will be using a file number of XXXXXX. This notification has been completed” This same person proceeded to call my mother’s cell phone and her home phone.
