Scam Description
Received a call from PayPal saying that an overseas company had taken three thousand from my bank account during the night. He could help me get it back. He put me in touch with customer service with my bank(also part of the scam) who told me to follow his instructions. I did everything I had seen on TV that I knew was a scam. They are very good. They told me my phones were hacked. He never got off my cell phone. I withdrew money and and bought gift cards. It was like I was I was in fog. I bought a pair of shoes on line. I thought I brought them from Amazon. Turns out it was from PayPal. The company I learned was from China. The scammer called me. PayPal finally admitted they gave gave the merchant my number. The scammer said he was from PayPal. I hope this helps someone.
