Scam Description

I saw a work at home job posted online at FB for Data Entry for $25 an hour. I reached out to Billie Gayle Tuknegt, HR Department and she put me in touch with Hendrick Willow. They sent me an ID me thing, they said the system was down. Then they sent an employment application through Microsoft Team. Then, I received a check which was automatically deposited into my checking account. they told me to go to Target and put $500 on an Apple Card. I told them I couldn’t go till the morning. They told me to Zelle the money to a vendor apple.ford@yahoo.com who would then send me the equipment, and then training would begin. So I sent them $1000. Then in the afternoon, I looked up the check, and it had my fiancé’s grandparent’s names. Back in July, I took a picture of a check from them as they had written a check for my daughter’s birthday.
