Scam Description
The scammer had my name, address, phone number, age, wanted to know where I worked and my networth, said he was Paul from Publishers Clearinghouse and that I had one a $4 million dollar prize and wanted to know how I planned on spending it. I advised that PCH doesn’t call to present prizes. He said that due to COVID they are not allowed to come to the door, but that I had to go to the nearest Walmart, Walgreens or CVS and purchase two $500 claims cards to present to PCH when they arrived at my door with balloons today about 4pm. I told them that PCH doesn’t charge anything when they come to present your prize and to try that scam on someonelse! He said, “okay” and hung up. My son recorded the conversation he heard me having on my speaker phone because they sounded like a scam.
