Scam Description
I called what I thought was a Comcast number, found in a google search. They “attempted” to fix my router remotely but couldn’t so told me I had to set up a service appt. They required payment of $69.99 to set up the service appt, and never showed up. I have called 3-4 times asking for a refund (we have since fixed issue ourselves). They initially promised the refund and have increasingly gotten rude on the phone, today telling me “do not call this number again” and hanging up on me.
