Scam Description
started receiving phone calls last Friday about an account balance I owed for a product I ordered Jan 2022. I immediately cancelled the order and subscription. The caller said that I received more then one shipment, which is completely false. He said that my card was denied and that I owed money. My bank statement was reviewed and clearly shows the transaction for the original purchase. he began demanding that I notify the bank to ok the trans actions or to pay him. I refused, He became very aggressive with a raised voice and demanded that I call that customer service number listed, Did not reach person .he also demanded that this be taken care of prior to 5pm, It was 4pm then, he called back before 5 and asked if I had taken care of it. Once again, I refused to provide debit. credit or banking information, he said that he would not honor my cancellation and was going to start shipments over and I would owe the original 200 plus an additional 300 plus. He also threatened to turn me over to all credit agencies. over next few days, have received 15 or so phone calls from various numbers, many in my state and from different towns with different names and numbers, The last one I demanded that they quit calling me! Very similar experience to the ones read. Same number but with additional threats thrown at me, I blocked all numbers, and there were many! No calls yesterday. but still early today. Needs to stop and this is nothing short of harassment and threats. I have not and will not comply with requests for me to notify my bank of clearance for them and no information has been provided to them.
