Scam Description
I got a call from someone saying they had a promotion for Spectrum for seniors. They asked me questions like the first 5 of my SSN and a few other things, They asked for my credit card info, they needed to take $5.00. I told them I was going to call Spectrum and they told me Spectrum doesn’t know about the promotions. They then asked me for the last 4 of my SSN. I didn’t give it to him. He said they would call back in 10 minutes but when they called I didn’t answer. I later checked and they tried using $60.00 from my credit card at UPS but it was denied because I advised the credit bureaus.
