Scam Description

As with others that have encountered this situation, I was offered an employment interview, for a remote position. There were two representatives; the first set up the “interview”, & the second actually conducted the interview. Once arriving at the unusual question of, “5. Payroll Method (Direct deposit / Wire Transfer or Credit card transfer? ) 6. What is the name of the Bank which you currently operate to see if it tallies financially with the company’s official salary payment account?”, they attempt to take your information, & promptly end the interview. When looking at their credentials on LinkedIn, the person conducting the interviews does not appear on the company roster. I am aware of another phishing company out of Barbados, with similar techniques. The other tell-tale sign is that when researching the company itself, there is little to no information, & barely fleshed out websites, or profiles.
