Scam Description
Called towing company to have car towed. The company had a local address and phone number. Told me they would have a driver out in 30 minutes to 1 hour. Asked us to pay upfront. We questioned that but said it was required. They sent me an invoice and text with drivers name and masked number. Said he would call but he never did. We called the company twice ad they said to keep my line open and he would call. Never received a call. Allen a third time and they said his truck broke down and they were sending someone else, but they needed more money. We refused to pay. No one came. We called another company and the car was towed by them in 30 minutes. I went to my bank and cancelled my debit card.
