Scam Description
On March 5,2023 I responded to an add on FB about a modeling job. I got a response saying I got the job on March 13,2023. They sent me a check of $4950.60 through USPS Priority Mail saying it was for wardrobe as well as a $500 booking fee. They also sent me a contract. When the check arrived on Saturday March 25,2023 I deposited it the following Monday morning. My bank put a hold on the check and released a little bit at a time. On March 30,2023 at approximately 11:05 I checked my account and realized my account was in the negative which I was confused by because I had just gotten paid and the check had finally cleared. I called my bank and was informed the check was returned so they took my paycheck, the $46 that was already in y account, plus some from my savings account to makeup for what I had already sent
