Scam Description
Posting for 2009 Ranger Boat 188 VX was posted on Craigslist. We asked questions about it and “seller” asked for our email address and we were contacted by “Dr R>>> F>>>>” via dr.r.farinas@icloud.com. We were told the boat was located at consignment shop Izaberi Marine and inventory number was 0387127. We went onto Izaberimarine.com and registered as buyer. We were contacted via phone calls and texts by “J>>> E>>>>” at Izaberi Marine several times through process. All our questions were immediately answered, and we felt confident. I think I was vulnerable because I was so looking forward to doing this for my husband as he has been battling cancer since 2020. Now we feel embarrassed as we have not heard anything from “Dr R>>>>> F>>>” or “Izaberi Marine” since we transferred funds from our bank account on March 15 2023.
