Scam Description
I received a message via Facebook letting me know that the breeder had puppies available. I asked if they had any female puppies available. They said yes they have 3 available and they would be 900 if delivered. I agreed to get 1 of the female puppies and paid $200 as a deposit via Zelle to Darlene Robinson. When I called the breeder it was an African male who answered he stated his name was Carlos Johnson. The phone number given was an AZ number. I was told the puppy would be delivered to me by car by the breeder. Then the transport company reach out and said it would be transported by air and I would need to pay $1500 to $2500 for a create due to the breeder not providing the proper create. I contacted the breeder to inform him of this information. He told me to pay $900 to the agency to get the dog. I asked him why he couldn’t pay them and I pay him for what I owed which was $700. He send pictures of the dogs and the supposed parents of the dog. I could never get an address for the transport company so that I could pick up the dog.
