Scam Description
Someone claiming to represent American Fresh Start (fake company with no website or social media pages) and asked for donations to help the handicapped. They only claim to take mail in payments or credit card payments over the phone…the caller ID on my phone says “B Pelican LLC”. They call from different numbers but always with the same story. I asked the caller for their full name and they wouldn’t divulge it. I asked if I communicated with the Better Business Bureau would the business check out as valid and they hung up the phone.
