Scam Description
A man who said his name was John ********* called me and said there was a pending lawsuit on me in the amount of $692.84. He said I would be in serious trouble if I didn’t pay anything on this debt and the case would be filed in the Coles county court at 2pm that day if I didn’t pay at least $173.21 before 2pm that day. He further went on to tell me that if I didn’t pay anything on this day, he would be forced to tack on further charges for court fees I told him that I had no money at all until the 1st and wouldn’t have any until the 1st of the month. He had all my information, except my bank account information. I was worried about paying all that money out so I paid what I could and he took the money out just 2 days ago out of my account. I am contacting them to try to get my money back that I paid and I am going to block the account from taking any more money from me!
