Scam Description
A stray dog entered my home. It was fine with adults but growled around our daughter. I left for work and My husband contacted this rescue (as well as many others) in attempt to find more suitable accommodations til the owner could be found. After a lengthy conversation “the rescue” sent a “volunteer”, whom I believe is the “proprietors” boyfriend, to pick up the dog. My husband’s encounter with this man was questionable as he didn’t inquire about any information about this dog. Eg how or where he was found or our interactions with this animal. The owner contacted my husband via Facebook through FB comments and told him the rescue the rescue let him go, in front of a fire station. I do not believe this rescue is accredited in any way, or have any licensing to operate an animal rescue. They do not provide an address of operations. Nor any other proof of operating a legitimate animal rescue.
