Scam Description
The scammer contained me via email and made it look like a rodan and fields business email. They used the name Jennie Jacob. They wanted to order product for their daughters wedding. I gave them my phone number and asked them to call me. The scammer said they were deaf and could only email and text. They sent payment in the form of a cashiers check to my work. (I did not want to give them my personal address.) The payment was way to much money. They immediately texted me URGENT I need your help. They are still texting me trying to get me to cash the check and send the extra money to their daughters wedding planning via zelle or venmo. The zelle info is boyerm@llsd.org. The venmo info is @chrisap07
