Scam Description
Hi, unfortunately I was scammed by a psychic. I met her in person and she gave me her card. I contacted her and met her shortly after for a reading. I paid her in cash for the reading but during the reading we talked about a past love. In the moment I got emotional and she said she can help bring us together with a payment of $3500. Even though it was pricey, I was suckered into this because I really wanted the reconnect with my past love and she said it was guaranteed to happen. So I paid in increments through Venmo. Her Venmo name is Maria Stevens and she has two profiles I’m aware of, one that goes by psychicmaria21 and psychicmaria20. Once the full payment was completed I met her a couple of times afterwards and then her ‘aunt donna’ got involved. I should’ve know it was scam because her aunt was asking for more money ($5000 more to be exact) because she was now involved and her work cost more money. I made partial payments again but ended up completing the payments over a period of time. She kept reassuring me that the process was guaranteed and that things will happen with me and my past love. As it was nearing a year into this process I was inquiring more as to when it was going to happen. Then one day she didn’t respond to my text or calls (prob was blocked), and I even went to the building she was living at and was told (by the manager of the building) that they weren’t aware of them living there and it could be someone who did an Airbnb rental. I’m not sure if the building was involved as well because I’ve been going to that place for almost a year and now they act like this person doesn’t live there anymore. The building is called independence lofts, and they (Maria/Donna) lived on the 5th floor, unfortunately I don’t know the exact apartment number. She has various phone numbers like 631-303-7294, 631-352-7692, and on her current profile on Instagram 539-777-2323. Donna mentioned that they also work between Philadelphia and New York so she’s prob scamming other people in that area as well. I tried to see if I can receive my money back from Venmo but because the transaction didn’t go from person to business and was friend to friend, they couldn’t do anything to help. I did request on Venmo for her to refund me the money on there as well but no response. I would like to get my money back but if not I hope you can find her, tax her (since I prob won’t be getting my money back) and lock her up. Whether it’s Maria or her aunt donna. I’m uploading pic of Marias Instagram profile. She’s not as active on there. And her tiktok is starlight_psychic and she last posted on 12-7-22. Please find her.
