Scam Description
I fell prey to the age old “yes” scam over the phone. The man asked if I was my husband and I said no. He then asked if I was Mrs. ____ and I said YES. He then hung up quickly. I tried to call the number back but it would not go through. They called back a couple of hours later from the same number and I did not pick up and have since blocked the caller. I also notified my bank and credit cards. This happened yesterday–Black Friday. Everything I read suggested that I contact the BBB fraud alert.
